    This method worked on my 2007 Nissan Murano. I took off the throttle body last week to give it a clean and after putting it back in, i started having problems with start ups. So i searched on YT and came across your video, followed the instructions and voila, the car started on the first turn, thank you so much for making this video.

    • @erkme73
      @erkme73 17 днів тому

      @@24inchdubz I cannot speak to side windows on Lexus vehicles, but on my rear power hatch window, I did NOT have to remove the glass. I left it in the door but detached the glass from the carrier/regulator via two 10mm bolts. Since I was working on a hatchback door, it was horizontal in the open position. That let the glass just lay there without any steps required to secure it. Ultimately the steps provided in this video worked to reset the module.

    I have two '18's. An Explorer and F150. They have two separate chains and two tensioners. I paid $38 ea for the tensioners at the dealership. The thing that's annoying is they don't offer a complete kit to replace the timing set. You have to buy everything separately. If you're not boosting, you're driving like a grandma and people are honking at you. People think the timing is rattling upon startup but the majority of the time, it's the turbo waste gate arm. I highly suggest replacing your water pump and oil pump if you're doing a timing set. Yes, you can change the oil pump without pulling the pan. The thing that sucks is the oil pump cost alone is over half the cost of the timing set. We get around 18 mpg in the city and around 22 on the hwy. But we drive like we stole them. Our hwy mileage goes up in the mid 20's if we actually did the speed limit. My F150 has the ext fuel tank and allows me to go 600plus miles between fill ups. And yes, I pull 12k lbs with mine as it has the max tow package with a 13200lb tow limit. It pulls and stops easily. My son has a 5.0 in his F150 and it does very well also. His just hit 200k and still the original timing set with no rattle. My F150 had 175k miles on it before I did the timing set.

    LOL this is why it costs like 900$ to have your starter motor replaced. Or a 1000$ spark plug change. You do not need to spend all the time and effort removing the steering wheel. Holy hell. Did you forget you were making a how to video and not trying to pad the bill with "labor"?
